Wonderful Travel Awaits HNS Staff
6/10/05 at 4:11:30 PM

— Jennifer Rude, Academic Adviser

HNS is merrily O/Ring along with a busy first few days! We're getting used to scheduling the new Chem 1015 with students and are energized by their enthusiasm. We hope this trend continues through the summer!

We're also energized by the assistance we are receiving from the Regional Advisers, Rebecca Aylesworth and Paula Walsh. After an intense week of training, they're learning the ropes quite quickly and getting accustomed to life away from their departments. THANK YOU for all your help!

HNS would like to welcome back Cris Swanson from her professional development leave. She spent spring semester as a full-time student in the Teaching English as a Second Language program. For her practicum experience, Cris worked with the Commanding English program, helping teach a course for immigrant students completing their senior year at Edison High School.

The rest of us are looking forward to upcoming vacations. Jane Donnely will be returning to the Emerald Isle for her sister's wedding at the end of this month, Danielle will be enjoying some time out west in Wyoming in July, and Pouneh is filled with excitement (and a bit of anxiety) as she prepares for her year in Spain.
