What is a CLA student community?
Students within the College of Liberal Arts are members of student communities that have been designed to provide them with the information and support needed to succeed at the University and to make the most of their CLA education. Student communities are made up of advising teams— student community advisers, departmental advisers, career counselors, and peer advisers—as well as fellow students who share academic interest areas.
CLA students work with a team of advising staff within their communities. The team’s job is to help students use the resources available at the University, choose their majors, plan their degrees and majors, and prepare for the work world or further education after graduation.
